A growing call to focus more on maximizing human potential, led Annice to found Developing Capacity Consulting. Prior to, Annice spent over 15 years coaching and leading individuals, teams, and organizations through the change process. From UNC Chapel Hill, The White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for African Americans, the Harvard Doctor of Education Leadership Program, the Adaptive Leadership Network, the City of Durham Human Relations Commission, and several local chapters of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Annice led the launch of strategic new initiatives. Annice is a certified mindset coach, social justice activist, and leadership expert. Her work garnered several awards, most recently Outstanding Young Alumni under 40. Annice also serves as speaker and panelist on topics related to race & gender, leadership, entrepreneurship, mindset, and social justice. Dr. Ali Imad Fadlallah, Principal, LinkedIn
Self-exploration and media are at the heart of Dr. Fadlallah’s inside-out approach to promoting a freer self and freer society. Ali’s journey began in Dearborn, MI, home to the most densely-populated region of Arabs/Muslims outside the Middle East. As a Lebanese-American Muslim, Ali fell victim to failing public schools plagued by Islamophobia and exacerbated by the 9-11 tragedy in his first days at Fordson High. Watching his father weather the storm of DPS as a turnaround principal lit a fire in Ali that led him from Fordson High to Harvard, where he earned his Doctorate in Education Leadership. At Harvard, Ali was trained in (and taught) Adult Development Psychology, before partnering with Annice to expand DCC’s work with leaders/teams nationwide. Ali’s background as a musician, coach, activist, speaker, and writer have equipped him with a diverse skill-set that he has offered an eclectic range of clients across the public and private sectors, including Live Nation, Better World Books, Kern County Schools, Harlem Children’s Zone, and more. Ali was recently funded by the Voqal Fellowship to launch “CleffNotes,” a Cliffs Notes-like service utilizing visual media.
