The nuts & bolts of reclaiming your inner power
If you’ve read our blogs, you know that this platform coaches people to reclaim their power, use their gifts, and live life to the fullest. People often ask me to dig deeper into the dynamics of power, I dedicate this blog to answering that question.
What is Inner Power?
Power comes from within and waits on us to unleash it. We exercise inner power through self-awareness, intentionality, and a pure desire to uplift others and self. Tapping into our inner power requires making purposeful choices to direct our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors to access higher vibrations of energy over lower ones. For example, choosing to operate in trust (belief all things will work for your good) over fear (doubt that things will work out). Check out Dr. Fisher’s short video on the inner power and the power and choice pathway.
What about External Power?
Pursuing external power weakens your inner power because it relegates you to waiting on validation from others before taking action. Many of us do this, which is why I state, we must “reclaim our inner power.” Some may ask, but don’t we give power to elected officials and other leaders? YES. We give them a different kind of power as an authority to perform a service.
How to Reclaim your Inner Power
Becoming more present and raising your consciousness to continuously choose mindsets, behaviors, and emotions that lead you to walk in love and trust versus fear and doubt reclaims your inner power. For example, choosing to give versus to take, to surrender versus to worry, to strive versus to struggle, etc. Choosing the first attitude over the second sends a higher vibration of energy that emits signals of peace and contentment, all patterns that lead you towards the highest version of self. You will know that you are walking in your full power when you unapologetically own and use your gifts across diverse contexts to benefit our collective humanity.
