Leading for Antiracism & Equity: Anchors for Holding Steady

Experiencing daily cultural, structural, and individual acts of oppression, firsthand or as leaders seeking to disrupt them can sometimes leave us feeling defeated. The steps forward and backwards and periods of stagnation interspersed between equity wins and forward momentum can lead us to question if it’s worth it. To preserve our stamina, strength, and strategy, we must integrate anchors for holding steady as we lead self and others through the equity-change process.

Join us to learn how we coach people to celebrate wins, deal with resistance, keep the momentum, and sustain your joy and peace in pursuit of advancing equity. You’ll leave with our K.I.A. Framework and anchor strategies for you and your team/organization.

This session was led by DCC’s founder & CEO Dr. Annice E. Fisher and Anthony Curtis Jr, DCC Coach Affiliate and Sr. Manager, Volunteer Programs and Organizational Culture at NFTE.
