How to Work & Live in a Multiracial Democracy (Higher Ed Edition)

Free Workshop for Higher Education Professionals

In light of the current unrest on campuses, protests fueled by the war, and rising anti-DEI sentiments in higher education, we recognize the immense challenges facing higher education professionals today. As a country and world, we never learned how to live in a multiracial society. We may have learned 'about other cultures,' often through a lens of superiority and inferiority. These harmful mindsets are even more prevalent than ever in today’s existential times – people are less patient, less open to difference, and less willing to meet in the middle to serve the many.

Yet, in the midst of this chaos, we can choose love and trust over fear and doubt.

We want to bring us back to the foundational basics of honoring our collective humanity. Our FREE Workshop, 'How to Work & Live in a Multiracial Democracy,' is a vulnerable space for higher education professionals to come together, learn ways to bridge common understanding, name and unlearn the harmful messages we’ve learned about differences, and share micro actions that can create a ripple effect to change the culture of our academic communities.

Join us to learn how to foster respect and inclusion in your daily interactions and decision-making processes, and help transform your institution into a more just and equitable space.

Together, we can transform organizations through individuals. And that starts with you.

We did not record this workshop because we wanted to create a brave space for participants to share their stories without publicizing them. Instead, we recorded a short video describing the Daily L.O.V.E. Actions to Honor Our Collective Humanity, which you can watch below:
