Free Workshop for Social Impact and Services Professionals
We began our “How to Work & Live in a Multiracial Democracy” series with Higher Education Professionals. Now, we embark on creating a similar community space for Social Impact and Service Professionals. This includes nonprofit executives, community organizers, activists, foundations, fellowship programs, B corps, NGOs, and other social impact focused organizations.
Creating the conditions to live and work in a healthy multicultural environment is critical for those of us dedicated to social impact work. Ensuring our organizations and communities honor each other's collective humanity amidst global crises and rising anti-DEI sentiments has created immense difficulties for nonprofit leaders, community organizers, activists, NGOs, fellowship leaders, and all of us striving to make meaningful impact in our work.
We at DCC see you, we hear you, and we're here to support you.
Two reasons to join our FREE workshop:
1) Build Resilience Amidst Global Crises: identify strategies that keep your personal and organizational mission and values intact, even in the face of adversity.
2) Enjoy a Healing Space for Collective Humanity: The work you do is vital, but it can also be emotionally taxing. This workshop not only focuses on professional growth but also on personal well-being, offering a sanctuary for healing, reflection, and renewal. You'll leave feeling more connected, supported, and empowered to continue your crucial work.
We're using our platform to create a space for healing and learning in our FREE How to Work & Live in a Multiracial Democracy Workshop for Social Impact and Services Professionals on Tuesday, October 1st at 12pm CT.
We did not record this workshop because we wanted to create a brave space for participants to share their stories without publicizing them. Instead, we recorded a short video describing the Daily L.O.V.E. Actions to Honor Our Collective Humanity, which you can watch below:
